STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: A medium-intensity earthquake of magnitude 4.6 hit Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday night. The quake occurred at 11.32 pm at a depth of five kilometres, it said. There were no immediate reports of loss of life or property. Earlier, another earthquake of magnitude 4.0 also hit Jammu region at 8.56 am and its epicenter was in Bhallesa belt of Doda district, according to the officials. The tremors were also felt in Kishtwar, Ramban, Kathua and Udhampur districts.
