Jammu and Kashmir Police is accomplishing multifarious duties with one point agenda to maintain law and order, which is the prerequisite for peace, prosperity and progress, as envisioned by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The message of JKP is loud and clear that those habitual of breaking law shall be put behind bars irrespective of their region, religion or class. It is the tradition of JKP that its officers act more as motivators rather than seniors therefore the large force which it has become today has seen number of success stories be it in the realm of terror, crime against women, drugs, smuggling of bovines, common offences and the latest in series which is unprecedented in itself viz tackling coronavirus. One can take any one among aforesaid duties the role of JKP in dealing these is full of valour and efficacy, and above all unblemished. What is more inspiring is the fact that the police force in J&K UT act as a family with all ranks and files doing their bit to root out crime, terror and injustice from their area of jurisdiction that too following law in letter and spirit. In this direction, the government is also playing a significant role by enhancing facilities and providing state of art weaponry necessary for tackling outlaws therefore enabling cops to deliver in a better way. In this context, DGP Dilbag Singh on Sunday applauded JKP for proving itself by successfully tackling multiple challenges and coming out with flying colours. He asked officers and jawans to ensure stringent action against law breakers to instill confidence among people who have no other option but to turn towards police for their safety and security.
