STATE TIMES NEWSKISHTWAR: Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sen, today kick started Artificial Insemination Programme under Krishi Kalyan Abhiyan (Rashtriya Gokul Mission) here across the district. The launch was marked with the holding of an artificial insemination camp here at remote Kuchhal village of block Mughal Maidan. A team of Veterinary Assistant Surgeons and field staff of Animal Husbandry Department inseminated around 30 animals on the spot besides the locals were made aware about the scheme and benefits of Artificial Insemination. The CAHO informed that the programme is likely to continue till March 15, 2020 and about 100 revenue villages are expected to be covered under the scheme during the period.
