STATE TIMES NEWS POONCH: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology-Jammu under the patronage of Directorate of Extension Education, SKUAST-Jammu on Thursday organised a programme in border village Degwar Maldiyana and distributed five sewing machine to Sarpanch in presence of large number of villagers. The programme was organised under the guidance of Associate Director Extension and In-charge KVKs, of SKUAST-Jammu, Dr. Raj Kumar Arora. Dr. Ajay Gupta, Sr. Scientist and Head of KVK Poonch said that the sewing machines were provided to Panchayat village for establishment of cutting and stitching centre so that unemployed rural girls and women of the border village can be benefitted. Parvinder Singh Sarpach of Degwar Maldiyana thanked Dr. Ajay Gupta, Sr. Scientist and Head KVK Poonch and SKUAST-Jammu for providing the sewing machines to the border village.
