JAMMU: Students of Jammu Sanskriti School (JSS) Jammu brought laurels to school by winning medal in the Inter- School Taekwondo Championship organized by District Youth Services & Sports at Nagrota, near here recently.Four sanskritians namely- Vishal Majotra under the category 14 yrs boy, Abhirag Bharti under 17 yrs boys, Mehak Sharma under 14 yrs girls and Jhanvi Majotra under 14 yrs were selected for next district level championship.Principal-cum-vice-Chairperson of the School, Rohini Aima congratulated the winners, their parents and their mentor Jagpreet Kour for leaving an imprint by their performance.She asserted that the Taekwando serves not only as a sport but also develops self defense mechanism amongst girls and boys which is the need of an hour.
