State Times NewsJAMMU: Chairman, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Baldev Singh Billawaria, on Monday inaugurated a water cooler in the highway market of Gangyal and dedicated it to the people under Sewa Saptha.On this occasion, Billawaria said that in the summer days, people of the market often needed cold water but due to non-availability of space, water coolers could not be installed yet and now it have been dedicated to the people on the occasion of the birthday of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi so that people and shopkeepers can get clean water to drink in winter and summer.Later, Billawaria participated in Swachta Abhiyan along with Ward Number 53 Councilor Jyoti Devi.The campaign was organized by Sulabh International (NGO). Masks, sanitizers and cloth bags were also distributed to the people in the campaign.Billawaria said that cleanliness is India’s biggest goal and every Indian has to understand the importance of cleanliness.Because any disease and virus can be avoided only when our surroundings and environment will be clean, he added.On the occasion, Billawaria also took a pledge to the people to make their surroundings neat and clean.BJP leaders Prerna Nanda, Sham Lal, Sahil Gupta, Ranjit Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Abhinandan Sharma, Mulkh Raj, Ashwani Gupta, Sunny Sharma, Channa Lal, Pritam Sharma, Om Nath, Kanwaljeet Singh were also present on the occasion.
