JAMMU: Teaching toddlers about basic shapes is a great way to help them develop their cognitive mind. It’s also a favourable time to help them learn something beyond books.
Toddlers’ World of JK Public School, Kunjwani made the concept of shapes quite easy for the kids by inclining it artistically. Through this activity, the Activity Incharge, Purnima gave the young minds an opportunity to use their imagination creatively to learn the concept more vividly. To make it more interesting, the activity was titled as ‘Feed the Hungry Shape Monsters’ ! The kids actively engrossed themselves in the activity and fed the hungry shape monsters with the same shape cut outs.
Some of the toddlers also spoke on the importance of shapes in their day to day life and gave various live examples.
The activity was a real fun learning experience for all the toddlers and their teachers as well.
The budding minds learned the concept through an innovative way which will help them retain the learning throughout.
Coordinator of the wing, Shivangini Pandotra applauded the efforts of the teachers in bringing out the best in kids.
