STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Patching for restoration of Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, J&K Apni Party (JKAP) on Monday demanded resumption of political process in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the press statement, several people joined the JKAP in Jammu and they were welcomed in the party by the senior leaders. Former minister Mohammed Dilawar Mir, former minister Manjit Singh, Ex-MLC Vijay Bakaya, Ex-MLC Syed Asgar Ali, senior leader Vikram Malhotra, senior youth leader Raqeeq Ahmed Khan Vaibhav Mattoo, Sandeep Gandotra, Janmeet Singh Bali and others were present on the occasion. In their presence, the retired Feeder Manager, Power Development Department (PDD), Ajaz Kazmi along with other youth joined the JKAP. Kazmi is also General Secretary of Provincial Power Employees Union. Welcoming them in the party, former Minister and senior leader JKAP, Dilawar Mir said that JKAP will pursue the developmental agenda in order to take the people of the Union Territory towards peace and prosperity. Mir said that they will fight for the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s Statehood. “The time has come when the political process should start in J&K,” he said, adding that divisive politics has no place in a democratic process where people should be united. Meanwhile, Ex-MLC Vijay Bakaya said that the party will work for the redressal of the grievances of the all section of society. Prominent among those who joined the JKAP include Rahil Paul, Govind, Sahil Sharma, Sunny Kumar, Shubham Bashan, Aijaz Mir, Suhail, Wasim, Charanjit Singh, Haider Hussain, Hasan Ali and others.
