JKAACL, Bhadarwah Admn organise Multi-lingual Mushaira

Bhadarwah: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL) unit Doda in collaboration with Bhadarwah Administration organized Multi-lingual Mushaira at Bhadarwah on Monday, following all SOPs and guidelines.
To refresh the minds of people, Multi-lingual Mushaira, in which poets from different parts of Chenab region and participated was organised at Lalded Auditorium of Bhadarwah Campus.
The multi-lingual Mushaira was presided over by the veteran Urdu poet Talib Hussain Rind, while Tehsildar Bhadarwah Zeeshan Tahir was the chief guest on the occasion. Famous Poet from Kashmir Nadim Shoukiya and SDPO Bhadarwah Meer Gafoor were the guests of honour.
Gulab Saify, Cultural Officer JKAACL Doda, was all praise for the poets especially youth who despite very short notice and bad weather conditions, graciously agreed to be part of the Mushaira. “The overwhelming response from all the sections of society, especially from the young is boosting our confidence and giving us a new high to continue with our efforts to revive the literary activities across Chenab region in general and Bhadarwah in particular,” Saify added.
Tehsildar Bhadarwah, Zeeshan Tahir said that such events are need of the hour to get connected with our roots and these kind of activities will surely help in diverting the attention of misguided youth towards positive and creative activities.
The young aspiring poets, who attended the Mushaira were completely engrossed and seem to be enjoying their traditional roots of literature especially sarcastic and humours poetry to the hilt. The poets who rendered their poetry include Abdul Jabbar Zair, Imtiaz ur Rehman Tanha, Sajid Sarmadi, Arshad Rahat, Touseef Tabish, Ashiq Hussain Ashiq, Shaban Shaban, Haseeb Raza, Aasif Atta-ullah, Aaqib Wani, Mohd Sharief Aajaz and Nadim Shoukiya.
