STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Taking serious note of J&K Bank Rs 1,100 cr scam, detected by investigating agencies few days back, Jammu Ki Awaaz (JKA) party urged the Governor and other concerned authorities for carrying forward the investigation more vigorously for booking all erring officials for their mis-deeds. Speaking during a meeting held here on Monday, JKA Chairman, Ashok Khajuria said that about 13 bank officials were found involved in the scam, including bank’s former Chairman Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh, which is a matter of grave concern. Khajuria further asked the bank authorities for taking necessary measures to provide hassle-free and smooth loan to unemployed and needy persons for resolving issue of unemployment. Khajuria requested the Governor to direct the Bank authorities for cooperating with customers at par with other agencies like JKID and others.
