STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The Government on Wednesday informed that 493 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 57 from Jammu division and 436 from Kashmir division, have been reported today thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 11666. Also eleven COVID-19 deaths have been reported from Kashmir Division. Moreover, 114 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 14 from Jammu Division and 100 from Kashmir Division. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), out of 11666 positive cases, 5123 are Active Positive, 6337 have recovered and 206 have died; 18 in Jammu division and 188 in Kashmir division. The Bulletin further said that out of 4,74,149 test results available, 4,62,483 samples have been tested as negative till July 15, 2020. Additionally, till date 3,20,657 travelers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been enlisted for surveillance which included 37,490 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 13 in Hospital Quarantine, 5,123 in hospital isolation and 45,704 under home surveillance. Besides, 2,31,671 persons have completed their surveillance period.
