J&K reports 487 new COVID cases, 1,01,363 recovered so far

JAMMU: In all 487 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 232 from Jammu division and 255 from Kashmir division, have been reported on Thursday, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 1,08,306. Also 5 COVID-19 deaths have been reported; 2 from Jammu division and 3 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 471 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 183 from Jammu Division and 288 from Kashmir Division. According to the daily Media Bulletin, out of 1,08,306 positive cases, 5,275 are Active Positive, 1,01,363 have recovered and 1,668 have died; 574 in Jammu division and 1,094 in Kashmir division. The Bulletin further said that out of 29,12,826 test results available, 28,04,520 samples have been tested as negative till November 26, 2020. Till date 7,78,968 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 19,455 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 5,275 in isolation and 45,138 in home surveillance. Besides, 7,07,432 persons have completed their surveillance period.
