STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Elections for 115 out of 134 Mandal Presidents of BJP has been completed successfully. It was informed by BJP State Incharge for Organisational Elections, Varinderjeet Singh, accompanied by Co-Incharge Munish Sharma at Party Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu on Thursday. Singh further said that setting a perfect example of total internal democracy in party, BJP has so far completed election for 5027 booths out of 5531 booths in the first phase of organisational election and 115 Mandals out of 134 Mandals in the second phase. He said that all the process has been completed in best democratic principles. Singh further said that party has also constituted an Appeal Committee for the party leaders, who have any doubt in the process and any party leader can file objections regarding the election till November 30. Singh told that in three month long process till date, the organisational election have gone smoothly by taking all functionaries in confidence. The nominations for Presidents of remaining Mandals will be done later after thorough discussion within the party, he added. Singh further informed that the election process of District Presidents of the party will be held in first week of December giving a complete makeover to the Organisational structure. Singh further added that these organisational elections are a way to keep the organisation healthy as it encourages new leadership to take over the reins of party leadership. This way, sufficient chance is given to emerging leadership from every region and every segment of the society to lead the party, he added.
