Indoor activities in full swing at Poonch

POONCH: The just opened Indoor Complex at Sports Stadium Poonch has received a positive response with young trainees in the different disciplines, especially in Taekwondo, taking full advantage of the facility.
“With the opening of indoor facility, the game of Taekwondo has received huge response from those young boys and girls showing interest in the game,” informed Taekwondo promoter and coach, Rajinder Singh, who serves with Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).
Finding the activities in full swing at the indoor complex, former Sports Officer of the J&K Sports Council, Krishan Lal Sharma and senior Congress leader, Taj Mir today visited the venue and encouraged young trainees.
Also present were Incharge Manager Sports Stadium Poonch Nirdosh Kumar, Secretary Athletic Association Ravinder Singh and Ramparkash Ground Incharge Sports Stadium Poonch and ground staff.
Meanwhile, Taekwondo coach, Ravinder Singh expressed his thanks to the Secretary, J&K Sports Council for opening the facilities for different games thus encouraging the young talent of the district.
