STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Department of Horticulture Jammu is going to organize Soil Testing Programme in Jammu Division covering all the districts in a phased manner wherein a Mobile Soil Testing Van fully equipped with the soil testing facilities will be made available to the farmers/orchardists at their doorstep so that they can get the status of their soil and accordingly shall apply the balanced dose of nutrients in their fields. To begin with, the soil testing programme shall be held in Ramban district with effect from 24-02-2020 to 29-02-2020. All the farmers/orchardists may contact Chief Horticulture Officer Ramban or Horticulture Development Officers of Ramban District for on spot testing of their soil.
