STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: With the commencement of Hindi fortnight with effect from September 16, 2019, the office of Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlement) Jammu launched several initiatives to promote usage of Hindi in the office. On this occasion a traditional lamp was lit by the officers of all the three offices of Accounts and Audit in the honour of Mata Saraswati. While addressing AG, Jammu and Kashmir Shorjo Chatterji said that the Hindi fortnight is being celebrated to promote usage of Hindi in the offices. On the occasion, a cultural programme was also organized in which number of competitions were held. Large number of officers and officials of the department took part in this function.
