STATE TIMES NEWSREASI: Hindi Day celebrations were organized at Salal Power Station. The function was inaugurated by Head of Salal Power Station N. Ram, General Manager (in-charge) and the Special Guest Pushp Lata by lighting the lamp. Dr. L. Bedajit Singh, General Manager (Medical Services), Shri Jitendra Kumar, General Manager (Electrical) and other senior officers supported him on the occasion. Special invitees from press media, women from the families of Salal Power Station, employees of Salal power station graced the event with their dignified presence.On the occasion of Hindi Day, messages by Home Minister, Government of India , Power Minister and Chairman & Managing Director of NHPC were also read. The Head of Salal Power Station, in his greeted everyone on Hindi Day. Referring to the Official Language Shield Awards received by Salal Power Station from the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, he said that these awards have been recieved as a result of the hard work and efforts of all personnel. For this, he congratulated the officers and employees posted in various departments of Salal Power Station and hoped to continue this sequence even further.. The Head of Power Station reiterated the resolve to establish more records in the field of Official Language Implementation at Salal Power Station.On the occasion of the inauguration of Hindi Day, Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Assistant Manager (Official Language) welcomed and greeted all the honourable guests and presented details of events and competitions organized during Hindi Pakhwara. The employees of Salal Power Station, gave the Hindi Day celebrations a festive look with their poems and songs.On the occasion of Hindi Day, 48 winners of the competitions were rewarded by providing Hindi books and cash awards. Along with this, various departments, departmental heads and Hindi coordinators of Salal Power Station were also honoured with Rajbhasha Shield Award, Rajbhasha Shilpi Award and Rajbhasha Smriti Awards.On the occasion of Hindi Day, Journalists & Media Personnel were also honoured by Head of Power Station. They had been presented Yatharth Gita written by Swami Adgadaanand and other Hindi books along with mementoes.Dr. Dheeraj Sharma, Senior Deputy Chief Medical Officer, anchored the event. Shri Dinesh Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Electrical) presented the vote of thanks to the august gathering.
