STATE TIMES NEWS SRINAGAR: Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey refused to quash the petition challenging detention of Mohammad Amin Ahanger who filed a petition seeking quashment of detention under Order no. 143/DMS/PSA/2018 dated November 11, 2018, purporting to have been passed by District Magistrate, Shopian, whereunder detenu namely Mohammad Amin Ahangar, son of Gh. Hassan Ahangar, resident of Chak Sangran, Shopian, District Shopian, is under detention. Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey after hearing both the sides observed that in present case the detention order is issued on more than one ground independent of each other, therefore, the detention order does not get vitiated even if one of the grounds taken in support of the petition is turns affirmative. With these observatiobs, the petition is dismissed as such and the impugned detention order challenged in this petition, accordingly, sustains and is maintained.
