HC Jammu Wing, District Court Complex Janipur to remain close for 2 days

JAMMU: The High Court Jammu Wing and District Court Complex Janipur shall remain closed for two days i.e. 4th of September and 5th of September. The information with regard to this was given in the respective orders issued by Chief Justice J&K High Court and Principal Sessions Judge Jammu.
It is worthwhile to mention here that 31 persons including some security officers tested positive in rapid Antigen Tests whereas 2 Judicial Officers among 26 officers/ officials tested positive.
According to the order issued by Chief Justice Gita Mittal, as informed by the Registry, some officials in Jammu Wing of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir have tested Covid-19 positive. As per the SOPs issued by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, access to the High Court premises in Jammu Wing of the High Court has to remain closed for two days for sanitation purpose. No person except the sanitation workers will be permitted to enter into the High Court Wing, Jammu on 4th & 5th September, 2020, it added. Urgent cases listed on 4th September, 2020 in Jammu Wing of the High Court shall be taken up for consideration on 7th of September, 2020. Dates in other matters will be given by the concerned Bench Secretary and the same will be uploaded on the website of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir on 7th September, 2020.
As per order issued by the Principal District & Sessions Judge Jammu Sanjeev Gupta some officials posted in different courts at District Headquarter Jammu have tested COVID-19 +ve. As per the SOPs issued by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, access to the District Court Premises at Jammu shall be denied for 2 days for sanitation purpose. No person except the sanitation workers will be permitted to enter into the District Court Complex, Jammu on 4 & 5th September, 2020. The Presiding Officers of all the Courts shall hear the urgent cases through virtual mode from their respective residences. Dates in other matters will be given by the concerned clerks of different courts and the same will be uploaded on the website of District Court, Jammu on September 7, 2020.
