STATE TIMES NEWS POONCH: Guru Ramdas Sewa Society Poonch on Tuesday organised an awareness camp on Coronavirus (COVID-19) at District Hospital Poonch. During the programme, Medical Superintendent Dr. Shamim Bhatti informed about the symptoms of COVID-19 disease which are charaterised by mild symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, dry cough and fever. During the camp, members of Guru Ramdas Sewa Society distributed sanitizer and masks among the people and sensitized the seriousness of disease. President of Guru Ramdas Sewa Society Daljeet Singh appealed to public wash your hands with soap or use a hand sanitizer and avoid close contact with people who are sick, especially people exhibiting respiratory symptoms and fever Gen Secy. Balbir Singh informed that Guru Ramdas Sewa Society is spreading awareness on coronavirus through various means including print, TV in different places of district poonch to avoid this disease and will continue to do it. On the occasion, Medical Superintendent Dr. Shamim Bhatti and members of Guru Ramdas Sewa Society Daljeet Singh, Balbir Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Randhir Singh Chand, Parveen Singh, Surinder Singh Bitta, Satnam Singh, Mohinder Singh, Jasbir Singh, Startaj Singh, Satnam Singh besides medical staff were present.
