State Times NewsJAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party Provincial President Women Wing, Namrta Sharma on Tuesday demanded that the government should make officers more accountable to the public and time bound redressel of public grievances is required.During this period of COVID-19 people are already facing huge problems and the arrogant attitude of the administration in solving the genuine problems of the public has made things more miserable, she said while addressing a meeting of women, here.Namrta requested Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to give strict directions to the government officials for the redressel of public grievances effectively and in a time bound period.She further stated that the government should come out with some special women welfare schemes to enable them more self reliant.While addressing the gathering, she ensured that the JKAP will strive hard for the welfare of women folk and downtrodden people of the society in the UT.Speaking on the occasion , Ex MLA of Rafiabad, Yawar Mir also emphasised on the empowerment of women in all auras of the society. He assured full support of party leadership for the women empowerment in the UT.Namrta further assured the women folk that JK Apni party will be a ambassador for the women empowerment in the UT and will fight for their rights.While welcoming the new women faces in the party folds, she said that party will be more strengthened with their joining.Many prominent faces joined today were Neetu, Parvern Kour, Gerta Devi, Neesha Gupta, Anchal Anand, Sudesh Kumari, Madhu Raj Kumri, Babli Devi, Asg Devi and Shamo Rani.
