STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: The government on Saturday accorded sanction to setting up of Health Clubs at Village/Town level in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.“Sanction is accorded to the setting up of Health Clubs at Panchayat level in collaboration with Govt sets up…Panchayat Raj Institutions to help in screening and identification of suspects & managing suspects/pre-symptomatic/asymptomatic/very mild cases of COVID-19 infection at Village/Town level in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir,” reads the order issued by Atal Dulloo, Financial Commissioner, Health & Medical Education Department.The Sarpanch will be the chairman of nine-member panel, which will include Panchs, volunteers from the Community, Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) from the Sub Centre (Member Secretary), Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA), Anganwari Workers (AWW), Booth Level Worker (BLW), Self Help Groups/NGOs and Panchayat Secretary, the order said.
