Govt assigns addl charge to two CAOs, four AOs

JAMMU: The government on Thursday assigned additional charge to two Chief Account Officers (CAOs) and four Account Officers (AOs) in Finance Department.
According to order issued by Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, Financial Commissioner, Finance Department, Vikas Atri, I/c CAO, Chief Pay & Accounts Officer, Baglihar Hydro Electric Project, Chanderkote shall hold the charge of Chief Pay & AO, Sewa Hydel Project Sawalakote; Rafiq Ahmad Shah, I/C CAO, (Sr. Instructor) Accountancy Training School, Srinagar shall hold the charge of CAO, Srinagar Municipal Corporation; Anoop Kumar Sharma, AO, Forensic Laboratory, J&K shall hold the charge of AO, Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission, UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh; Manmit Kumar, AO, Directorate of Sericulture, J&K shall hold the charge of AO, Rashtriya Uchatar Shikhsha Abhiyan, J&K; Nadia Khanday, AO, Directorate of Horticulture, Kashmir shall hold the charge of AO, Board of School Education, Kashmir; Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Ganai, AO, District Jail Srinagar shall hold the charge of AO, Regional Transport Office, Srinagar in addition to their own duties till further orders.
As per another order three CAOs and 14 AOs transferred. They include Zafirah Bashir, I/c CAO, General Manager (Accounts), Power Development Corporation, J&K has been posted as I/c CAO, Kashmir University. She will continue to hold the charge of CAO, General Manager (Accounts) Power Development Corporation, J&K till Abdul Salam Kumar returns from leave. Kumar Abhishek, AO, Directorate of Audit & Inspections, Jammu as AO, Poonch Development Authority, Poonch. He shall also hold the charge of AO, Municipal Council, Poonch in addition to his own duties till further.
