GDC Thannamandi organises inter-collegiate essay writing competition

THANNAMANDI: Career Counselling Cell Manodarpan of Govt. Degree College, Thannamandi, organised an inter-collegiate essay writing competition on the theme, “Impact of COVID-19 on Employment” under Manodarpan, an initiative of MHRD, Govt. of India being executed by the Department of Higher Education, J&K Govt. In this intercollegiate competition Wasid Sheraz of GDC Thannamandi bagged Ist position, Shreya Gumble of GDC Nowshera bagged 2nd and Aditya Prasher of GDC Udhampur (Boys) bagged 3rd position certificates. The competition was jointly organised by the career councelling cell of the College headed by Dr. Tajinder Singh (HOD) Botany and College Placements and Training Cell which is headed by Dr. Khalid Rayaz (HOD) Geography. Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Javaid Ahmed Qazi appreciated affords of both the officers for conducting competition.
