STATE TIMES NEWS BHADARWAH: Departm ent of Computer Science, Govt. Degree College Bhadarwah organized an online MCQ type quiz for Sem-VI students on Cloud Computing from 29th May 2020 to 2nd June 2020. The quiz was organized under the graceful and determined leadership of worthy Principal Dr. K. K. Sharma. It is worth mentioning here that University of Jammu has decided to conduct MCQ type term end examination for Sem-VI for this session in the backdrop of prevailing extraordinary health situation due to COVID19 pandemic. In view of this fact, the online quiz organized at this juncture which is much earlier than the term exam will certainly give the students an ample time to prepare and practice more accurately and perfectly to face the final exam confidently. Moreover it will also help them in learning skills to handle online exams much precisely. A large number of students from different colleges of union territory of J&K participated in the quiz with an overall commendable performance. Those who secured marks above a preset benchmark also received e-certificate. The faculty of computer science who took a lead role in organizing the said quiz included Prof. Arjun Kotwal Head Department of Computer Science, Prof. Vijay Kumar, Prof. Ajay Singh and Prof. Rakes Kumar. In this scenario Govt. Degree College Bhaderwah has formulated a policy to promote online teaching learning by all means. The faculty is taking online classes using various online teaching learning tools with appreciable outcomes.
