GD Goenka holds Poem Recitation Competition

JAMMU: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu on Saturday conducted an Inter-House Poem Recitation Competition.
The participants were judged on the basis of voice modulation, intonation, voice clarity and presentation skills.
In the competition, the first place was secured by Vridhi of class VII bringing accolades to Radhakrishnan House while second place was shared lifted by Arav (Class VII, Vivekanand House) and Dhanya (Class VII, Tagore House) and the third position was bagged by Nivriti (Class VI from Tagore House) and Divyam (Class VI from Radhakrishnan House).
The competition was organised and perfectly conducted under the guidance and support of Diya Sarkar, Middle Wing Co-ordinator, who looked after the entire proceedings.
Principal, Rajesh Rathore appreciated the selection of the poetic verse as well as the polished diction of all the participants.
He further stressed on the value of developing public speaking as well as confidence building skills in the present day world. He also appreciated the staff and students for their untiring efforts.
