STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: The Government on Thursday suspended former Block Medical Officer (BMO) Beerwah and two other officials, pending enquiry into their conduct in connection with a case registered by the vigilance organization Kashmir, now Anti-Corruption Bureau, in 2014.“Pending enquiry into their conduct, the delinquent officer/officials of Health & Medical Education Department are placed under suspension, with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu & Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956,” reads the order issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department.Besides the then BMO Beerwah Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Banday, the other officials suspended include Mushtaq Ahmad Parray, the then Junior Assistant (Cashier), Medical Block, Beerwah presently posted at Medical Block Khansahib and Zahoor Ahmad Banday, the then Pharmacist, SDH, Beerwah, presently posted at Medical Block Soibugh, Budgam.
