First phase of impact online training by DIET concludes

POONCH: Last batch of five days first phase online IMPACT training concluded in Poonch district by DIET Poonch.
About 1998 Grade 2 and Grade 3 teachers get training by online mode . School education department in collaboration with SAMAGRA Shiksha imparted this Integrated Multidisciplinary Professional Advancement Course for Teachers (IMPACT) which was hosted and supervised by concerned DIETS . This training was inaugurated by Principal Secretary Asgar Samoon with first batch of UT from Doda district .
In Poonch total target of teachers to be trained was 2033 which rises to 2046 after including 13 recently elevated Grade 2 and Gr 3 teachers . Total of 1998 teachers out of 2046 has completed their first phase of training . S Manmohan Singh District Course coordinator told that after completion of first phase each teacher will do a field work of 21days in which they will implement the training skills in their teaching by taking home classes which is being monitored by UTRPs ,DIET teams ,Zonal education officers , and district mentors . At present teachers of two zones have also completed phase second and in six zones it is going on .
The second phase for three zones who has completed first phase will start from Monday. Officers from Directorate SAMAGRA Shiksha , CEO Poonch RS Sharma , Principal DIET Gulzar Qadri , Mentors Anwar Khan Principal HSS Sawjian, Harish Sharma also interacted with teachers in this training from time to time . Sixteen UTRPs from Poonch and UTRPs from PARATHAM take sessions of teachers in which they discussed the new skill and methodology with teachers to make teaching learning more effective . Jammu Kashmir Knowledge Network JKKN team provided technical support in training .
Course Coordinator on behalf of Principal DIET Poonch thanked the Principal secretary School Education department, Director School Education Jammu ,Director SAMAGRA Shiksha and its team, Programmer SAMAGRA Shiksha, Chief education officer Poonch, JKKN team, district mentors , District and PARATHAM UTRPs , SNOs ,Technical staff, attendence team and participant teachers for their healthy cooperation to make said training a success.
