STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani attained a new milestone on Monday when it launched first ever virtual Summer Camp 2020 from June 1 to 9, 2020. The inaugural was floated today on School Facebook Page and YouTube. It was a wonderful coming together of Principal, staff and students in which each from their homes contributed in the most cohesive and harmonious manners. The Summer Camp 2020 is being held in two categories. In the first category from Class 2 to 5th – Stretch or Sketch, Sway or Play and in the second category from classes 6th to 10th- Quest for Zest. Each day multiple activities ranging from Music, Art, Theatre, Yoga, Sports, Story Telling etc. will be conducted by students in the safe environs of their homes. Teachers have made videos of all activities and these will be floated on a daily basis, giving the child ample choice to participate in the activity of his / her choice. Principal Vandana Sharma declared the summer camp open and expressed her good wishes. Finale will be held on June 9, 2020 wherein best entries in each category will be awarded certificate. The idea of the camp was conceptualized by the Principal with a core team of teachers called the ‘Creative Think Tank’. The complete event is being supervised and executed under the guidance of Shashi Rattan, Vice Principal JK Public School.
