Dear Editor,The inclusion of an official from the ministry of external affairs in the military Commander’s dialogue between India and China is right thing to do. Hopefully talks to disengage and de-esclaate the border tensions will be successful, preferably before the onset of winter. One of the reasons for the failure of talks so far has been disconnect between the armies and diplomatic Corps. Hopefully this is adequately bridged this time around.Neha Jamal,Punjab.
