STATE TIMES NEWSUDHAMPUR: The randomization of polling staff and Ballot boxes for smooth conduct of BDC Election 2019 was successfully conducted by the District Election Authority, Udhampur in the presence of Observers and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Gurvinderjeet Singh here today. The randomization of the polling staff was done by NIC, Udhampur through the pre-devised software developed by the NIC. Deputy District Election Officer informed that there are a total of 17 blocks and each block has one polling station where the polling would be held from 9AM to 1 PM. She said that poll parties for all the blocks will be dispatched on 23rd October 2019 from GDC Udhampur. She further informed that a total of 102 employees including reserve staff are deputed for conduct of elections adding that all arrangements for smooth conduct of BDC Elections are in place.
