STATE TIMES NEWS NAGROTA: All J&K Ex-servicemen Welfare Society in collaboration with Akhil Bhartiya Bharashtachar Nirmulan Sangharsh Samiti (ABBNSS), Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday organised an ADIP assessment camp for physically handicapped persons at the Government Higher Secondary School Dansal, block Dansal. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Kuldeep Sharma, National Vice President, National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, Child & Women Welfare Ministry while R C Sharma, State President ABBNSS was also present on the occasion. A team of expert doctors from Delhi rendered services during the camp and examined about 300 physically challenged persons. The camp was organised to improve living standard of physically challenged persons living in far-flung areas thereby enabling them to live with dignity. While addressing the gathering, Dr Sharma said to take care of physically disabled people is the moral responsibility of all physically fit, social workers and leaders, but sad part of the story is that the politicians, after completion of elections, leave people at the mercy of God. The staff of Government Higher Secondary School Dansal extended full cooperation for holding the camp. Two doctors from PHC Dansal also rendered their services in the camp. Social activist Yog Raj Sharma, Sarpanch Kuldeep Sharma, Sarpanch Captain Sharma and ASHA worker Kanta Devi were also present on the occasion.
