Drug peddler nabbed with heroin, over Rs 9 lakh cash

NAGROTA: Police on Friday nabbed a drug peddler and recovered 45 grams heroin and Rs 9 lakh 42 thousand cash from his possession. As per details, a team from Police Post Sidhra led by Incharge Police Post Sidhra SI Ayub Khan, while on Naka duty near Bajalta Morh Sidhra, apprehended a person namely Sahil Malik, son of Mohd Muneer Malik, resident of New Plot, Jammu. On search of his belongings, 45 gram heroin and Rs 9 lakh 42 thousand cash was recovered from his possession. He was arrested on the spot and a case vide FIR No. 431/2020 under Sections 8, 21, 22 & 27-A NDPS Act was registered against him at Police Station Nagrota.
