SPORTS REPORTER JAMMU: Young Tigers and Param Risers won their respective matches in one-sided contests to consolidate their position in the ongoing Division-B Football League of District Football Association (DFA) Jammu at GGM Science College Ground, here on Monday. In the first game, Aryan Sharma guided Young Tigers to a fine 3-0 win netting the ball twice in the 15th and 21st minutes of the match. Arvind was other scorer, who struck in the 18th minute. In another match of the day, Param Risers defeated Moon Light Club 3-0. Tushar (8th), Atul Verma (36th) and Rachit (41st) minutes were the scorers. Earlier, both the teams were introduced with Special Guest, former footballer, Ranjit Rathore. Today’s matches were officiated by the technical panel including Rahul Sharma, Dheeraj Menia, Rahul Ghai, Ricky Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Abhishek, Nitika and Mohinder Kalsi. Prominent persons present were Narinder Gupta, Yusuf Don, Rajesh Kumar, Bharat Bhushan and Mohan Lal. FIXTURE: State Sports Club shall take on Young Strikers at 3:30 PM tomorrow.
