STATE TIMES NEWS SUNDERBANI: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma on Monday visited Sunderbani under Back to Village programme here. The Divisional Commissioner was received by Provincial President of Panchayat Conference, Sarpanch Arun Kumar Sharma and Sarpanch Lok Nath Sudan at Government High School Kalideh, Block Sunderbani, district Rajouri. Secretary Forests Department, Umesh Sharma; Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Benhal; Tehsildar Sunderbani, Jatinder Singh; BMO Sunderbani, Raghubir Singh; BDO Sunderbani, Raman Sharma and ASP Nowshera, Girdhari Lal Sharma accompanied the Divisional Commissioner during his visit. On the occasion, Sarpanchs raised many issues including lack of drinking water, low voltage, air pollution, road connectivity, encroachment and various other problems. The officers noted down their problems and assured them that all their problems will be looked into. A large population of village including local Panchayat members also participated in the programme. The Divisional Commissioner resolved many issues on the spot and gave instructions to the Block Medical Office (BMO) Sunderbani for distribution of free medicines and anti-rabies injections among BPL people.
