STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Brilliant innings of 86 runs played by Sidharth Bhat wasted when KC Sports Club (KCSC) lost a close game by five runs to the visiting side of Hill View Rajouri Juniors in the ongoing KC Cup at KCPS ground, here on Tuesday.Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, Hill View Rajouri set a target of 160 runs. Nawaz Rather made 50 runs, followed by Abhishant Bakshi, who contributed 16-ball 38 runs to the total. Aryan was the pick of bowlers with three wickets. In reply, KCSC took the match very close but fell short of the target by four runs, Sidharth played a good knock of 87 runs. Preethi remained most successful bowler with three wickets.In the final over of the innings, KCSC were in need of 11 runs to win the game. However, Abhishant Bakshi bowled a good over giving just six runs to seal the win for his team.Nawaz Rather was adjudged Man of the Match for his brilliant half century.
