STATE TIMES NEWSREASI: A delegation led by Advocate Pawan Dev Singh, President District Bar Association Reasi met Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar Advisor at Conventional Hall, Canal Road, Jammu and submitted a detailed memorandum regarding the problems faced by the people of Reasi.He submitted that the Village Kund Khanyari has been declared as Citrus village but there is no road connectivity and requested that a road be sanctioned from Middle School Sungal to village Majra Kund via Kharah. He has further stated that there is no Veterinary centre in panchayat halqa Sirla which has a population of more than 3000 souls and requested for establishment of veterinary centre in the panchayat. He also requested for establishment of a Hospital between Reasi and Katra town at some central place as there is no proper facility for medical emergency in the area and people as well as pilgrims face lot of problems. Also, the PHC at Arnas which caters to 40000 souls should be upgraded to SDH and new building be constructed as old building is in dilapidated condition. It has been further submitted that the bridge at Village Taddu in Arnas on Ans nallah be constructed as it connects two blocks and will be beneficial for the people who have a take an extra round of 10 kms. Further, it was submitted that there is no blood bank at Reasi and a blood bank be opened at Reasi.He also submitted a separate Memorandum for expansion of court complex Reasi which is congested and requires immediate expansion by acquiring the adjoining land belonging to the Sheep husbandry department. Advisor listened to the problems and assured for early action at the earliest particularly the providing of land for expansion of court complex which shall be done within a period of one month.
