STATE TIMES NEWS KATHUA: Deputy Commissioner Kathua O P Bhagat conducted an extensive tour of border villages of Hiranagar subdivision and enquired about the damages caused due to recent cross border firing incidents. The DDC interacted with families of border village Chakra, Chandrachak, Spalma, Hore, Bhagwana Chak, Bobiya and Londi who have badly affected in recent shelling. He directed officers to evaluate the damages, further assured the families of every possible help from the District Administration. While taking first hand appraisal of ongoing construction works of bunkers, the DDC directed executing agencies to ensure quality of work in line with prescribed design and specifications. He assured people and local representatives that construction of community and individual bunkers will be completed in a time bound manner. The DDC also visited Quarantine Centre established in Comman Facility Centre, Hiranagar and interacted with inmates and enquired about the facilities which are being provided besides also enquired about their status of sample collection.
