State Times NewsUDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla conveyed a meeting with ARTO Rachna Sharma and Dy.SP (T) Luv Karan Taneja to implement newly amended traffic rules in true spirit, so that rate of road accidents and fatality can be bring down and to avoid traffic hazards on the road as well. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Singla taking the serious cognizance of the increasing traffic violations and not obeying the MVD rules by the all types of vehicles operators including two wheeler riders, urged upon the ARTO and Dy SP (T) to keep strict vigil and implement the newly amended MVD rules so that vehicle operators can be punished with heavy fine within the orbit of newly amended traffic rules. Singla said ultimately aim of the Govt. is to ensure safety and security to the common man who is always been the victim of road accidents and fatality too. He asked the both officers that besides implementation of traffic rules, do organize awareness camps also so that people can be make well aware of all about healthy traffic sense. Coming in action ARTO Rachna Sharma immediately called upon a meeting with transporters and transporter’s union leaders to make aware them about the action shall be taken against the violators who so ever will found violating MVD rules while driving.
