STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Corporator Ritu Choudhary on Saturday conducted a special sanitization drive at Kanji House, Prem Nagar, Christian colony and adjoining areas falling in Ward-7 keep in view spreading of coronavirus pandemic.As a precautionary measure in the wake of coronavirus and dengue threats, Ritu stressed upon the JMC Commissioner to intimate fumigation and other concerned drives in the entire 75 Municipal Wards as far as upcoming Dengue fever is concerned.The team was provided with special equipment to protect themselves from infection while carrying out the sanitization job and also aware the staff about how to protect themselves from the novel coronavirus.On the occasion, the garbage collection points and dustbins were also sterilized and sanitized.Ritu urged upon the people to wear masks and maintain social distancing to combat coronavirus pandemic and also spreading awareness about personal hygiene amongst the senior citizens, women and children specially.
