STATE TIMES NEWSREASI: Apni Party Vice President and Former Minister Aijaz Ahmed Khan today demanded the involvement of main-stream political parties in delimitation of District Development Council constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir.Expressing his shock over the way the delimitation of constituencies was declared and only minimum time was given to file objections; Aijaz Ahmed Khan questioned the process. The Former Minister said that without the consultation or involvement of political representatives in the process of delimitation of DCC constituencies has raised eyebrows and mistrust among the people about how the constituencies can be created without coming out in the field. He appealed to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to personally intervene into the issue in which the political parties were neglected and drafts for the delimitation of DDC constituencies were prepared. He said that the last date for filing objections i.e. October 23rd should be extended giving more time to the people so that justice should be done with the far-flung and neglected Panchayats.
