STATE TIMES NEWS SAMBA: Stressing upon strengthening of justice delivery system and need for sustained efforts for ensuring availability of justice to common people, the Chief Justice of High Court of J&K, Justice Gita Mittal on Wednesday underlined the need to have an amicable work atmosphere through usage of new technology and e-libraries for keeping advocates abreast with latest developments in the field of law. Justice Gita was speaking during an function after inaugurating newly constructed District Court Complex at Nandini Hills Samba. She was accompanied by Justice Sanjeev Kumar Shukla, Justice Sanjay Gupta and Justice Sindhu Sharma (Administrative Judge for Samba District). On the occasion, ADR building and Lawyers’ Chambers were also inaugurated by the Chief Justice. The New Court complex is equipped with latest facilities including five regular Courts with Court rooms, separate bar rooms for male and female advocates, washrooms, child care rooms, JSC Counter, Front Office Legal Aid Clinic of District Legal Services Authority and e-kiosk. Sindhu Sharma, Administrative Judge for Samba District congratulated the District Judiciary and Bar for the new building and called upon the stakeholders to avail full benefits of the facilities available in the court complex. The welcome address was delivered by Principal District and Sessions Judge, M K Sharma and S S Sambyal, President Bar Association Samba. A short-skit on ‘Mediation’ was also presented by students of Dogra Law College, Bari Brahmna on the occasion. The proceedings of the inaugural ceremony were conducted by Advocate Sahil Bharti and Advocate Ankita Sambyal while the formal vote of thanks was presented by Swati Gupta (Sub-Judge) Secretary DLSA.
