Chargesheet filed against 4 terrorists, 3 associates

SRINAGAR: Handwara Police on Tuesday submitted the Charge sheet in case FIR No 104/2020 of Police Station Handwara.
The Case pertains to the incident dated 03 April 2020 when Handwara Police along with 21 RR, 92 CRPF arrested 04 Terrorists and 03 Terrorist Associates of Let outfit.
After conclusion of investigation, the Chargesheet has been filed before the Competent Court by Handwara Police under section 13,18,20,23,38 UA(P) Act, 7/25 Indian Arms Act and substantive offences thereof subsequent to obtaining necessary Government sanction for prosecution under UA(P)Act.
The Chargesheet has been filed against 04 Terrorists identified as Parvaiz Ahmad Chopan resident of Shartpora Langate, Mudasir Ahmad Pandith resident of Zargar mohalla Langate, Mohd Shafi Shiekh resident of Langate & Burhan Din Wani alias Burhan resident of Tulwari Langate and the three Terrorist associates of proscribed terror outfit LeT identified as Azad Ahmad Bhat resident of Shalpora Langate, Altaf Ahmad Baba resident of Babagund Seelo Rafiabad & Irshad Ahmad Chalkoo resident of Silikoot Uri for their role in hatching criminal conspiracy for the terrorist act, harbouring terrorists and giving support to the proscribed terrorist organisation.
