STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Crime Branch Jammu produced charge-sheet against one Davinder Kour along with her husband, resident of H.No 210/2, Tulsi Bagh, Srinagar present staying at H.No 281, Lane No 2, GTB Nagar, Channi Rama, Jammu for fraudulently withdrawing relief, both in cash and kind, as a Kashmiri migrant on basis of fake documents. Whistleblower Bhupinder Singh, son of Sajan Singh, resident of H.No F/177 Sec-11/F, Nanak Nagar, Jammu (now expired) had alleged that the accused and her husband got relief illegally as Kashmiri Migrants from August-1990 to April-2007, as given to unemployed migrants of Kashmir. The Crime Branch Jammu lodged a case vide FIR No 15/2011 under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B RPC after allegations were prima-facie substantiated during the preliminary enquiry. During the course of investigation, allegations were proved against main accused and her husband. It was proved that Davinder Kour’s husband Manjit Singh was serving as a Central Government employee in Field Ordinance Depot, Srinagar while she was withdrawing relief and ration for him from the office of Relief Commissioner Jammu. The charge-sheet has been produced against both the accused in the Excise Court Jammu.
