JAMMU: To realise the impact of Guru (Teacher) in student’s life and to improve today’s educational system and inculcate moral values among the students, Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Talab Tillo Branch on Tuesday organised Guru Vandana Chhatra Abhinandan at JK Montessorie British School here.
The main motive of this programme is to strengthen in the minds of children, the idea of respecting their parents and teachers, whose blessings will enable them to be successful in life.
The students were encouraged to take the blessings of teachers and parents by touching their feet.
Teachers of different schools namely Co-operative Public School, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Nowabad, Flower Kids Nursery School, Kids Heaven School, JK Montessorie British School and Mount Litera Zee School Bohri were honoured with garlands of flowers and applying Tilaks and in turn, the teachers gave the students’ books as gifts. Rajeev Bhardwaj, President Talab Tillo Branch said that the role of Guru is very important in students life.
Savita Gupta Branch Treasurer, Alok Sharma Branch Secretary, Director Academics Rajni Gupta and Geeta Dixit were also present.
The vote of thanks was presented by Branch Secretary Alok Sharma.
