State Times News SRINAGAR: Sopore Police solved a burglary case by arresting the accused person involved in the commission of crime. As per the details, on 20th June, 2020, Police Station Sopore received complaint regarding burglary incident in the residential house of Ulfat Ahmad Khawja, resident of Seloo Sopore. Accordingly, Case FIR No. 152/2020 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation was initiated. During the course of investigation, officers arrested one suspected person identified as Umer Farooq Sheikh, son of Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, resident of Seloo, Sopore. During questioning, officers learnt about his involvement in the commission of crime. He has been arrested and shifted to Police Station Sopore where he remains in custody. During the investigation, officers also learnt about the involvement of another person Shahid Farooq Sofi, resident of Sempora Sopore in the commission of crime. He is presently at large and efforts are on to effect his arrest.
