STATE TIMES NEWS LEH: Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) Leh in collaboration with Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement (PSSM) will inaugurate the first-ever ‘Pyramid Meditation Hall’ in the Himalayas within the premises of MIMC Devachan Campus on the International Yoga Day on June 21. Founder PSSM Brahmarshi Patri will inaugurate the Pyramid Meditation Hall. The inauguration ceremony of the Pyramid Meditation Temple will be followed by International Conference on Mahakaruna, Non-violence, Vegetarianism and Science of Pyramid Meditation. Briefing media persons here, Founder-President MIMC Bhikkhu Sanghasena said “This beautifully conceived and designed Shangri La Pyramid Meditation Hall is yet another milestone in promoting world peace, harmony and non-violence through science of pyramid meditation, Mahakaruna, vegetarianism,” adding that Shangri La Pyramid Meditation Hall will be open to all seekers of peace and harmony irrespective caste, creed, religion, gender, nationality and race. He informed that a special one-hour long yoga session to celebrate the International Yoga Day will also be held in which participants from different religious, social and political organisations both from Leh and others parts of India are expected to take part. Sanghasena also informed about MIMC in collaboration with Save the Himalayas Foundation, New Delhi, Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Nalanda, Central Institute of Buddhist Studies (CIBS), Leh and Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Leh hosting a grand reception to the Thai delegation of the 4th Pad Yatra for World Peace on June 26 on their arrival at Shey.
