State Times NewsRAJOURI: Police foiled a bovine smuggling bid on Tuesday and rescued 24 bovines from clutches of two smugglers.Police has said that a team from Khawas Police Post led by SI Sudershan Lal, under supervision of Station House Officer Budhal Som Raj and Deputy SP (OPs) Imtiyaz Ahmed, during routine patrolling in Bhela Keri area of Khawas, noticed suspicious movement of two smugglers along with bovines. Police team rescued 24 bovines from clutches of smugglers, who were also arrested on the spot. The accused were identified as Khadam Hussain and Naseeb Mohammad, sons of Kesar Din, residents of Gundha Khawas. A case vide FIR No 80/2020 under Section 188 of IPC and 11 of PCA Act was registered at Police Station Budhal.
