STATE TIMES NEWSSAMBA: Police on Wednesday arrested a bootlegger and recovered 49 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession.As per details, acting on reliable information regarding transportation of illicit liquor, a party from Police Station Ramgarh laid a checking Naka at Chak Salarian, Ramgarh and intercepted a car (JK21E-0173), coming from Vijaypur side and moving towards Ramgarh.During checking of vehicle, a total of 49 bottles of liquor were recovered. The accused, identified as Suram Chand, son of Channa Ram, resident of Trindi Camp Ramgarh, was arrested on the spot and a case vide FIR No 107/2020 under Section 48 (A) of Excise Act was registered against him at Police Station Ramgarh.
