State Times NewsREASI: Police on Saturday nabbed a bootlegger and recovered 40 quarters from his possession.As per details, a team from Police Station Reasi led by ASI Bhibushan Singh during patrolling duty near Police Women Cell Reasi, intercepted a person namely Bittu Singh, son of Pritam Singh, resident of Reasi, who was moving towards IRP Chowk. On seeing Police Nake, he tried to hide himself but was nabbed and frisked. During checking, 40 quarters of liquor were recovered from his possession. He was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 114/2020 under Section of 48 (A) Excise Act was registered against him. The entire operation was conducted by Insp Sumit Sharma SHO Police Station Reasi under supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs Reasi Iftkhar Ahmed, Addl SP Reasi Surjeet Kumar Bhagat and overall supervision of SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir.
